So yeah, im going to mexico (cancun area) during Christmas and i was wondering what i can get in their pharmacies. Like i know you can get Viagra and steriods but can you get like oxycontin or vicoden or percocet?

Yes it is againt guidelines. And no, it will be extremely hard for you to find and C-II narcotic in any mexican pharmacy. I've heard it's even hard to find C-III narcotics like hydrocodone.

Yes, i was in rehab recently with a friend who was from tiajuana... its reported that in that city you can get viagra, rohyphonol, valium, ... i have heard ketamine sa well, although it is reported oxycontin and such is not sold... unless you know someone..

I'm stacking up when I go for spring break.....the resort towns like cancun, spi.......are much stricter than the other towns pharmacies and they might ask for a prescription, if you look around they be someone who won't, a buddy of mine said he was being followed after making a large purchase, drive to a smaller town with no tourist and you won't have any problems! =D

In the U.S., you have to go to the doctor to get prescription meds. In Mexico, you are the doctor!!

But seriously like vico said, it would be hard to find pharmicies in Mexico handing out C-II drugs with no script, if you were to try, which you wouldn't of course! ;)

Have been there and done that. I have been to 3 border towns [Nuevo Laredo, Nogales, and Tijuana]. It differs from city to city. In most as soon as you walk over the border you are approached by "runners" who generally work on commision [from the pill mills as wellas what they can hustle off of the customers]. The best bet is to walk a few blocks and don't bite at the first few...better yet, find your own pharmacy. It helps if you have a familiarity in Spanish. Always exhibit confidence but not arrogance. if you are nervous they will only offer crap and probably overcharge you. They usually [but not always] work in conjunction with a doctor who charges a nominal fee for "consultation." Usually their offices are in the same building, or at least the same block.

They usually have lists with available medicines and their prices in dollars. I have never seen Oxycontin there but I admittedly haven't been there in a few years [96]. Things have probably changed a whole lot...but then again from what i hear it's still biz as usual. There are some mid level opioids like Tylox,etc. but you have to be careful of meds with similar names. One that is always brought up is "NeoPercodan." Sounds good right? Wrong...Just the equivalent of APAP. As far as Ketamine and Roofies you are going to be disappointed as they are giving into pressure from the American authorities and curtailing the licit trade...you can still get it off of "runners" as well as Oxys from what I hear. just do not front money and make sure ahead of time on a firm price in dollars.

Coming back over you can only carry a 90 day supply and you're supposed to declare it and pay the fees. Most do not, if caught you get a hefty fine and/or they confiscate it.

I have a daughter in the state of Nuevo Leon. She lives up in the Sierras and it's a whole different ball game up there. If you have cash and patience you can get anything you want...the border areas are a different ballgame. Do your research and be patient as well as careful.

Yes you can, as I did last night. And then they snitched and I just got out of a Mexican state prison about 8 hours ago. And I knew what I was doing as that is common routine for me... they cracked down starting this month though, so do NOT try it unless you have very very good hookups.

A buddy of mine who just moved from right out of Mexico says when he goes up there he's bringing back lots of rohyphonol, say's it's easy to buy in stores where his friends go.

Be sure you have pretty many pesos on you.

Mexican police officers are easy to corrupt if you got cash.

"Theoretically", all CIII and CIV is available OTC at all the many dozens of pharmacies in TJ. Oxy is not available or very hard to get. CII-ritalin is available at some pharms. K is harder to get now because of US pressures. All are available OTC, but a TJ cop will shake you down for $$$ if you don't have a mexican script which will cost you $20 from a mex doc. They will write scripts for just about anything. So you need a mex script to legally carry around meds in TJ and you need a US script to bring it back into the US legally.

It all depends on the location, in most of mex. benzos and shit like codeine are automatic. but if you go to place that are more poor/rural they are more willing to co-operate with your needs. if your going to cancun, take a trip out to the mayan ruins and you'll have alot better success. in downtown cancun youll get laughed at if you ask for some strong opioid or k. ill be in playa del carmen the last week of nov., maybe ill update this thread is i can theoretically get some medication for a legitimate disease.

It's a $20 script for any meds available in TJ(oxy, adderall, dexedrine not available @TJ pharms) for humans. I don' t think they script K for humans, but i've never tried it. I know they script for all CII-CIV meds in TJ. pm me for legit TJ doc addy+# if you need it.

Psilo, I'm really sorry to hear about your set-up. I"ve heard similar, but you can usually pay off the TJ cops instead of jail unless it's large quantities of meds or illegal drugs(i'm not sure of the status of K in TJ now). You were probably set-up by the pharm. Was this a vet pharm? That's why i'm here warning you guys to first get a $20 script in TJ so the cops don't rob you or put you in jail!

I'm fairly positive I was just not careful enough and the cops had the place monitored from across the street. I really really think my taxi driver was a good trustable guy now that I think about it, I also think he got in just a bit of trouble himself. So yeah... I was careless.. Since I had done it many times before I thought It was just going to be "another run". Learned my lesson :)

It wasn't a vet pharm - I went to 6 of the Veterinarian offices that I usually go to and none had it for me. Anasket got busted a few weeks ago, which is why supply is low. But I did have to go into the back room of the regular pharmacy.

So even with a script, you cant get Oxycodone in mex huh? damn.

Just to clarify, you cannot buy Oxy at TJ pharms as they are not available due to US pressures. YOu might be able to get them on the black market in TJ, but you take a huge risk of getting set-up, scammed, or robbed. play safe guys!

Well Anasket is still 'around' but there is some sort of major dispute going on, legal and such, and it has greatly affected supply in both Mexico and the U.S. I was talking to a veterinarian down there who was a really nice guy and was experienced with the "K market", and wasn't bullshitting me, and he was explaining the situation. Those vet's can barely even get the drug right now, and none of them would sell to me (they usually do - they know me now...). Right now Inoket is probably the biggest manufacturer, in Mexico that is. I'm not sure about the U.S. Market, as I have no hookups and hate paying 70 a vial :)

First of all:

If you are a "Gringo" purchasing Meds you will be asked questions-- 70% of the time

Second:

yes you can buy Presc. Meds but only in SELECT Pharmacies (meaning you have to know someone or not be stupid enough to buy 50 boxes of ***)

Third:
Depending on the med & qty you can be a "red flagged" and Pharmacist can "SNITCH" on you.

So beware..

It ain't a free for all here, just slightly less rigid system for purchasing meds.

I'm not that experienced with Mexican pharmacies, but in most Central American pharmacies, it really coudn't get any easier.

Most strictly biz places have this kind of set up: one window that's a physician who will "diagnosis" you and write the script. Most palces have big books so you can transalate what you want, ask to see these. (Also say that you're an American and you're staying for longer than you thought, etc.ect.)

Then you walk to the pharmacists window and he fills you up. If you're throwing down enough cheddar you can get damn near anything you want opiates/oids, benzos (Rophynol!), barbituates.

^^^^^The dozens of pharmacies in TJ will ask no questions. You are legally allowed a 90day personal supply. Yes, you may be snitched on and set-up w/o a script. Get a $20 mex script from the dozens of docs next to the pharms before you buy and the TJ cops can't touch you. If they still try to $extort$ you, contact the US embassy and their superiors. They'll back down quick. TJ cops are nothing but thieves with a badge. YOu just gotta know the law and how to deal with pigs.

I got busted in Tijuana for Darvons. It was my worst nighmare of all. There were going to take or seize my car and plus fined $5000 dollars for 60 tabs od Darvons. I was crying (literally) and they one of the supervisors said to me that he did not want to see me down there again and off I went.

Yes, be very careful dude what you bring accross with you. The only silly thing of me that led the Feds to my suspicious activity that I was coming through the border without anything (meaning souveniers). and being there only for about half an hour. Yes, the truth.

It's just that old thread had 40-50 really useful Spanish drug terms all in alphabetical order, plus people started responding with other languages we had drug terminology in 6 or 7 languages (Swedish, Dutch, German, French, Portugesse.)

Maybe we should get something like going on again. DC would be an approaite place right mods?

i've been to cozumel...i was told that the pharmacies dont offer or have hydrocodone or oxycodone...they do have nubain and methadone, as well as benzos, such as valium and xanax. i was practically forced into buying steroids (even though i didnt); the lady threw the bottle at me and said i owed her the money for the pills...i left the bottle there and left. very shady in mexico:\
