Oblong white pill, imprinted "N"?

I found a pill in my billbox from highschool and I have NO idea what it is...could be cold meds could be a painkiller...
its oblong (oval) shaped and solid white with a capital N imprinted on one side. No bevel, no score. Its about the size of a tylenol PM (a bit smaller) it doesnt seem to have a time-release coating or anything...

you live in the states? could be a nurofen if you're from the uk or australia / new zealand (just some kind of tylenol I guess)

sounds like nodoz. Does it have a kinda spearminty scent? I recall that nodoz always did...
