My friend has a bottle of what his dad says is liquid vicodin but the paper label on it has been too faded by the humidity in the bathroom to read anymore. So now he has this bottle but doesn't know what the dosage is or anything...just that it is supposedly liquid hydrocodone that was apparently prescribed for pain.

The stuff is just about crystal clear in color, kind of thick, and smells like cherry flavored bubble gum. Anybody ideas as to what sory of hydro syrup this might be?

Nobody knows of any clear colored hydro syrups? anybody? I guess this would be pretty hard to ID just going on color and smell... Any guesses though?

If it indeed is liquid hydrocodone like he says, then it was probably prescribed as a cough syrup, not a pain reliever. I recently had some prescribed hydrocodone called Prolex that tasted kind of like bitter cherries, but the best kind of liquid hydrocodone I have ever come across was green, I think, and was called Autuss or something similar to that. It tasted great!

As for your friend's dad's clear hydrocodone cough syrup, I have never heard of that, but I don't see why it would be impossible. Hydrocodone is the #1 prescribed prescription drug in the U.S. and comes in too many tablets and suspensions to keep track of really.

i got something called vicodin tuss prescribed for a very strong cough, it is a mixture of the painkiller hydrocodone and a productive cough inducer.
