I actually dont know where to dl anything other than electronica. So im not sure we should do it that way, sometimes people who dont frequent this forum will see a cool site and its worth it for that reason. If you already know it, just overlook it.
Personally, Id like this thread to have the same idea as my other one: ALL sites that have download links, direct mp3 links to sets, and etc.
Im glad people are posting in here already! :)
An amazing show I was lucky enough to attend a couple weekends ago. A very on-point and poignant Jeff Tweedy solo show rounded out by every member of Wilco minus Nels to finish the evening. Get this one while it's hot! See my journal for a full review.

Max Creek - 2004-05-29 Strange-Creek Campout, Greenfield MA
"Heartbeat", "Loser", and "Scarlet Begonias" are the standouts, IMO. I was peaking on a couple hits of nice acid when I saw this and I was really impressed at the time =D
I'm not a *huge* Max Creek fan but they do acheive a few beautiful guitar jams during this show... really makes me wish I brought my guitar home over spring break :\
Usually Max Creek is a bit too bluesy/folksy/old-man-ish for my tastes (reminds me of some weaker aspects of the Dead [did I just say that??? hahaha])... but this night they seemed to cater towards the dancing hippy vibe at the festival and made probably the best show of their's I've heard.

This is the CD that is given away during the SXSW premiere of the new documentary by Bradley Beesley featuring the Flaming Lips. The intro from Wayne will tell you all you need to know. I don't have a scanner so I took photos of the CD cover.

Hey man, I'm listening to this now. Good stuff :)
I especially like "One for Brother Mike"

I would but I don't have time for Torrents right now. As in, I'm going back to the ultra-firewalled-no-open-ports network at school in a day or two.
That's why I friggin love that internet archive :)
Tweedy is good though. I only have a few Wilco albums and some Uncle Tupelo and seen one live show, but it looks like he can put on a good show.
It's only an 800 MB show...I downloaded it in a couple of hours, especially considering how many people are grabbing it at the moment.

I'll second that. A great show. Tweedy at his best.

Nope I wasn't at that one. I just really enjoy this recording.
I have seen Tweedy solo a couple of times and Wilco several times and the crowd is always like that.
I've got plenty of boots with Tweedy laying into some asshole in the crowd for shouting things durning a quiet moment.

By far one of my favorite Phish shows, with an incredible setlist for the first set including a good number of rarities (Wedge, Sneaking Sally, Fikus) and mad covers (Sweet Jane's debut, Sexual Healing, Sabotage encore, AND Terrapin Station from the next night is appended to this fileset), not to mention that the soundcheck is included on this torrent--and "You'll never get out of this Maze" floats out on top of Shafty in the soundcheck, which should get Finder crazy wet.
GET ON THIS SHOW IF YOU LIKE PHISH IN THE LEAST. IT IS A MUST HAVE.

yeah week...6/24/95's got it. (Mann Music Center) I have it on my hdd if you just want that tune or
http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=12375
if you want the whole show. it's a good show overall, i used to hate long Bowies and Lifeboy, and i've NEVER liked Acoustic Army, so I hated the show at the time--but in retrospect it's pretty decent. I also used to think Spock's Brain was a travesty, but i dig it big time now and i'm glad it came back in 2003.

oh, and i'm the same way with Guyute, Finder. I hated Reba and YEM for a really long time for the same reason...and I've grown to be bored with Divided Sky, but i think that has to do with the fact that I learned to play part of it so i probably heard it several hundred times (literally) while learning/practicing it.

Spock's Brain has not been played in the last 29 shows.
So, not quite a lot. I was *very* surprised it got whipped out at all in 2000, let alone into the set at Camden in 2003, i was sure it was dead and buried.
Incidentally, the SBD of Phish 12/31/96 is now up on bt.etree.org...however, it's currently 1 seed to 250 leeches. Once it flops over, I'll post a link.

As if we didn't have enough Phish in here...This is one of my favorites I recently re-downloaded as my original discs melted. Highlights include...fuck, pretty much every song! Not a dull moment and some tight playing. Page really shines in this show.
