Snort concerta anyone?

Yeah i hate the drug cause you cant snort it, ive tried and it just turns to goop so im at a lost, has anyone else figured how to do this yet?

Here's how I used to snort Concerta, even though it's not a very good drug anyways.
1.) Peel off the red or white coating with you fingernail and a razor.
2.) Cut the pill in half along where the green and white connect.
3.) Peel off the clear coating around the white mass. It's tougher than the first coating.
4.) Crush / grind the white cylinder into fine powder.

The best way to snort the powder is use a straw, half way up your nose and snort half the powder. When it kicks in snort the rest. Crush it on a glass surface and scrape off the stuff that sticks to it, combine with your powder.

At least that's what I do with the alza 36 or 54 pills. If this doesn't make any sense to you then say so.

yeah i got the 54's and thanks man i know its a shitty drug but my doc wont let me switch over to dex for another week cause he wants to try the 54's for one week. i cant wait lol

NarcoMan, that coating that you're throwing away contains A LOT of methylphenidate. It's designed to dissolve quickly to provide immediate delivery while the time-release mechanism absorbs water and begins to work.

The best way to use Concerta is to either take them whole if using them for utilitarian purposes, or the crush and swallow them. You'll probably need pliers to crush them, they are HARD.

You mean the first or second coating? It would make sense to have an instant release mechanism in the coating.

I've snorted 3 10mg instant release Ritalins (30mg IR) and I think it was the same potency as snorting the concerta the way I do. But I don't know, could you give more info on that?

Just tried snorting it per instructions. Been a long time since trying anything like this. Accidentally coughed on the kick and sprayed it all over the floor. So, just a heads up so you don't feel like a dummy like me, ha ha. I miss my adderall.

By the way: What is the big deal about snorting? It seems much more effective and requires a lot less product. Why don't the med cos get the head up and make an inhalable? I know that 'seems' silly and 'uncouth' somehow... but isn't there something to this tendency to crush and snort that would be worthwhile investigating rather than spending all this time and money fighting the practice?

Back when I used to use heaps of ritalin I would just eat these when I wasn't fortunate enough to have crushable pills or the capsule you open and all the little balls come out so you can snort. They are good to pop a couple then snort some of the better snortable ones throughout the high I find.
