Those who make a conscious attempt at changing the way they act. My friend...or rather, this kid I know started smoking when he started college. Whenever I see or talk to him, he's either high or acting like he's high. I've known the kid for about 5 years now, hung out with him and such. I know when he's sober, I know when he's high, and I know when he's acting like he's high. That: thinking that being high makes you "cool" really pisses me off. It's funny though because girls only like him because he makes them brownies and smokes them out...when will he learn.

1. Pick-pocketing hippy thug lot kids (i.e. the obligatory 8ft tall guy with dreads and the backwards new era fitted) who travel around from show to show, leeching whatever they can get, selling bullshit RCs as Molly/LSD, stealing shit from peoples cars, basically bottom-feeding hippie thug scum. If you've been to a Phish show especially on the east coast in the last 10-12 years you know the type. I dont know what subculture they fall into or what drugs they do (hubbas probably) but i despise those scumbags. They add nothing positive to the scene or to society as a whole. The world would be a better place without them, as fucked up as that sounds...

2. The crust-punk "summer addicts" that live in Thompkins Square Park. NY'ers know who im talking about. Hundreds of them appear out of thin air in the summer and stay until October. Usually dope, coke, and alcohol. They aggressively harass everybody and anybody for anything. you can't even smoke a cigarette within blocks of the park without a pack of 5-10 of them trying to shake you down.

3. Know-it-all drug users. Sadly, most fall into the psychs/RCs category.

I have issues with drug users that unfairly judge other drug subcultures, claiming that their way is right and everyone else is wrong for what they do. All types of drug users get enough hate from non-users, so why do subcultures have to hate eachother as well? What a person does to get high is their choice, as long as they're not hurting anyone else. The fact is, we're all getting high, usually for similar reasons, and that means none of us have the right to be condescending assholes.

I met a meth addict recently that called me a loser for using opiates. That's the kind of crap I'm talking about.. those who overlook the log in their own eyes to point out the splinter in someone else's.

Hmm I think a lot of them do more than that. But they fail pretty bad no matter what drugs they use. No drugs can make that music have any merit.

You haven't been to an independent coffee house for open mike night lately, have you? No scene ever dies entirely, this one nonwithstanding. Since I like to write, I actually find this scene pretty fun to hang with every now and then, even though I don't like opiates. I still drink espresso and smoke marijuana, though, both of which are more popular than opiates with the whole spoken word / amateur literary crowd, IME.

This has probably been said before (haven't had a chance to read the whole thing) but i can not stand full out sketchy ass kandi kids. Don't get me wrong, i have and make kandi bracelets, but i hate the ones who are completely covered in beads and sit and run around making e users look like we can't control ourselves. Even if i'm rolling balls, i dont want you to come up to me and start rubbing my head or waving lights in my eyes. If i want a lightshow, i'll ask.

I also hate users (esp e-tards) that look down on you if your on something else and begin to spout out trash rumors. They think there drug is the only drug.

I cant stand drunks who think they are better then junkies, because there poison is legal.
