07-12-2007 05:03I figured it was an opiate of some kind. Poor guy he was married and everything had a good job (as a porn star lol) but never the less I have had friends OD on opiates and I felt like it should have never had happened. To me its preventable (both people who died had company with them who didnt call the hospital)

Isn't it called roxycodone?
They're not rare, unless oxycontin is also rare in your area. They are instant released oxycodone pills (oxycontin are controlled release oxycodone pills).
The blue 30 mg pills are very popular around here, though they're commonly known as 'perc 30's' even though percocet doesn't make any oxycodone preparations without apap (that I know of) and definitely not 30mg of it.

07-12-2007 17:14Hello mate, I am truly sorry to hear about your Gf's friend. I myself am taking 15mg Roxy's (Oxycodone Hydrochloride), this is what I for my knee and back pain. I am some times worried when I take them if something is going to happen, but I trust in my Dr. and myself not to go overboard. Here is a pic of them,

And the most popular ones on the street are,
Please be sure you know what you take in the future, I'm sure this is ok, for educational reasons (so you know what you are taking for sure) you can go here http://www.pharmer.org/imprints/narcotics it can help keep you safe plus it is interesting to read. I wish the best for your friend and be careful out there. Cheers.

08-12-2007 09:54I tried OC's for a bit but it didn't really help with the pain unless I took 2 80s and one 40... and that was imo too much. At one point I was taking 30 5/325 Percocets a day, which is 9750mg of APAP waaaayyyy to damn much told the doctor(I was surprised that he backed me up after I told him that, good Dr he is) and that is when he put me on the Roxys, since then the pain has been under control. I was abusing the Perc's and the OC's, but I needed to get out of the pain. Didn't realize the harm I was doing to myself till I started reading more about the pills and the website I linked above and of course BL. Mind you I have only eaten the pills never railed or IV'd any of them. Once again hope your mate is doing better as well as your gf and yourself, gl. Cheers.

If you were only eating them I'm not surprised that your doctor took your side. Most people who wanted to get high would have been snorting them pretty hard.
oh, wait, percs.. well, I'd have chewed them, anyway.
I don't think he'll be coming out of the coma (as mentioned above). When overdoses are caught too late, when oxygen has been deprived for too long, a coma may last forever. It's a horrible situation, but generally, only the body is kept alive.your mate is doing better

I personally live in an area where stronger prescription opiates aren't easy to come by. The few times where I have been able to get oxycodone without apap, I have ALWAYS made sure to check the exact dose and type of pill (IR or ER). I have been told I was recieving 10 mg oxycontin's when In fact they were 15 mg IR generic roxicodones! Definitly a good thing since its more for my money but if I hadn't known, I would have taken 10 mg too much! I doubt it would have killed me since I had taken 20 mg the day before and hydrocodone every day at 30+ mg for months before hand. For people who need a LOT to get off, it can matter. Someone taking 5 of those would be ingesting 25 mg more than they wanted too, which could be fatal alone, and especially if someone wants to just take a little and drink with it. So please people, NEVER take a pill unless you KNOW the exact contents and what kind of pill it is. That is why I could never mentally bring myself to do something like ecstacy, and why I feel so comfortable taking prescription drugs.

10-12-2007 17:24Took the words out of my mouth mate. Where I live 5 times in a two week period there were cases where the pharmacy messed up bad and put the wrong drugs in the bottle. To the patients unknowing, they took the prescribed amount and OD'd. Two out of the 5 passed on, so one last time, please MAKE SURE you know what you're taking, before you take it. When I get a new prescription I double check what the pill is, even Pharmies can make mistakes. Cheers.

hmm they have tylenol in them...that isn't bad in small does right? I know too much is bad for your liver. They snort pretty easy...nothing, even for the first time I did it, and its good. What about injecting Roxis does anyone know anything there?

12-12-2007 23:41Well mate, my step father snorts, pops and IVs a lot of stuff. Not to long again he told me that he IV'd "roxys. That isn't my bag of biscuits. Just please do a lot of research before attempting such an act. Best of luck to you and please be very careful, cheers

I was just wondering if I'm really crazy doing half a pill a night...mg? Idk I'll have to go look, I didn't look at the bottle really when the opportunity was there. I don't know, I just sit there and think...higher would be better...
