concerta: beating time release

ok so i have searched and have not found a definite answer to this question. cas you bypass the time release on concerta by just biting sections off the pill and eating each seperately, should not eating segments open up the pill and therefore put ritalin into your system immediatly?

What I did was take a pair of big pliers and wrap the metal part with paper then crush the shit out of those rock-like pills. When I finished that I took scisors and cut the pill into the smallest possible pieces, mixed in water and drank it. It tastes like absolute SHIT but it bypassed the time release
because it hit me in less then 30 minutes.
