The dose for oral morphine is 30mg, while if you take the IV form morphine all you need is 10mg. What would happen if you took 30mg of the IV form orally? Would it work?

I guess, I have no idea. This is just a question that my friends & I have been throwing around. But we just can't come up with an answer. I mean if u drink the IV form, what's the absorbtion rate, I mean will it work? Will it make you sick? etc, etc.

I want to throw you across the room. We're sitting here extracting morphine from waxy pills for IV and you are asking to take the IV solution orally? kids these days.....
